In this episode we’re going to talk about the 60’s. Once again, fashion was more important than beauty when it came to hairstyling. The beehive is hot and hair is rising towards the sky!
I spent a week in sunny Spain! My family and I went to the coast near Barcelona to relax by the beach for a week. The weather was amazing, the food was great, the people were nice, and we had the best time. I don’t vlog on family holidays so there’s no Vlog Friday today, but I took lots of photos that I’d like to share with you today 🙂
When it’s really hot out, I reach for a couple of my favourite products to create a simple, minimal makeup look. Bring on the sunshine!
A bit of a tropical Outfit of the Day for you today! I’m greatly enjoying myself at the Spanish coast at the moment, and thought I’d quickly share this outfit with you. I put this together not too long ago when I went to a Benefit product launch, and I never thought I’d end up liking it as much as I do. I’ve worn this set a couple of times now and I’m sure I will in the future, nothing wrong with recycling a good outfit IMO! 🙂 My favourite way to wear this is with a red lip, red nail polish, and a vintage hairstyle, but it works just fine with only a red lip stain as well. (Oh and don’t tell, but the whole thing cost me just €30 😉 ) Perfect thing to wear at the seaside!
In today’s episode of Hair History we’re going over the decade of Hollywood glamour; the 50’s! Where luscious curls, updos and beehives dominated hairstyling fashions. Enjoy!
