It's always time for tea

April Weekend Loves #2

Happy Easter weekend! How will you be spending these few days? I’m going over to my parents’ house to enjoy lots of good food πŸ™‚ In case you’re planning to have a really chilled weekend just like me, I’ve got a wonderful suggestion for you this April Weekend Loves.

This Must-Watch

We started watching a new show this week and guys… I’m HOOKED!
“Taboo” is a brand new show that started airing in January, but it’s finished so you’ll be able to binge watch it. And trust me, you will want to. Taboo is set in 1814 London and is centered around James Delaney, who was presumed dead but returns home from Africa after many years to claim his father’s inheritance. Needless to say, people aren’t happy about it, and he becomes hunted by many different parties. James is an intriguing character veiled in mystery, not your typical “good guy”, but one you’ll sympathise with nonetheless.
This is so good. The lead is expertly played by Tom Hardy, and I personally enjoy playing “spot the Game of Thrones actor” in this one. The camerawork is amazing, as are the costumes,Β decors and sceneries. It gets a bit brutal at points, so beware if you have trouble watching violence, but it’s well worth a watch.

This Hair Oil

I received a package containing some press samples from The Innate Life this week, and among them was the Rose Hair Elixir. My hair had been looking quite dry for a while now as I ran out of argan oil and my coconut oil is still too solid to use, so this oil was very welcome. I tried it out on my ends and was instantly blown away. The elixir contains over 15 different oils, smells delicious, and instantly makes my hair look amazing. I wasn’t expecting the results I got from it at all, and I can honestly say this has instantly become a holy grail.

This Makeover

Want to feel bitter and jealous? Watch this makeover of Tati’s beauty room πŸ™‚
No but seriously, this is an absolute dream. Her beauty room is literally twice the size of my entire house, and it looks so beautiful. All throughout the video I was unsure of some of the styling choices they made, but in the end everything comes together so well.

This Chocolate

I bought the Alnatura chili cherry chocolate in Austria, and have been munching on it ever since. It’s a nice and dark chocolate which stops me from eating the whole thing at once, but I have been especially enjoying it this week. The sourness from the cherry and the spice from the chili work amazingly well with the 70% dark chocolate. Really good, this one!

Enjoy your weekend and have a happy Easter, everybody!
