My Current Perfume Collection

With the upcoming move in mind, I recently thinned out my perfume collection a bit. I love fragrances, but having too many means some lay unused and end up going bad, which is a shame. Some of my oldest perfumes had already gone off so I had to let those go. I also found a new storage place for my body splashes and lighter fragrances, so now my perfume display houses a beautiful collection of favourites, old and new. In this post I’d like to share them with you!

Chopard Wish

Kicking it off with the newest addition to my collection: Wish by Chopard. A classic! Robbert recently gifted this to me and he admitted to choosing it because it’s a very popular fragrance, haha! I can see why though, it’s such a lovely scent. I’d describe this as a light evening scent. Not as fresh as the other perfumes in my collection, but definitely not heavy. It features vanilla which makes it nice and sweet. The other notes are floral and powdery, and the overall scent is very feminine without being old lady-ish. I’ve been wearing it a lot lately, love it!

Last Normal Days In Utrecht | Loepsie’s Life

Happy Monday, everybody! I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend and are ready to tackle a new week. I know I sure am! I spent the past two days doing practically nothing. Getting some rest was great and much needed, as tomorrow is the day the moving madness officially begins. My moving plan is all ready and I made it nice and detailed to make sure I don’t forget anything. To be honest with you, as excited as I am to finally move, I can’t wait to get this over with. Unpacking, organising and decorating is something I look forward to, but packing up and the actual moving process… It better be finished soon. I am glad I finally get to actually do something hands-on, though. I’ll start filming my moving vlogs tomorrow as well (including the neighbourhood tour in Utrecht) so know those will be up soon! 🙂 But first, let’s take a look what I was up to last week.

Falling Leaves | OOTD

There is no season that inspires me like autumn does. This stage when there are still leaves on the trees but the ground is covered in hues of red, orange and brown, is my absolute favourite. Everything is changing, we spend more time indoors with the candles on, and the air outside is crisp. It’s just a super productive time of year, inbetween the summer holiday and Christmas break, and I love it.

Autumn is also the time of year when I feel the most comfortable in my clothes. I feel like the fashion of this season fits me well and not only goes with the colouring of my skin and hair, but my character as well. For today’s outfit I’ve done something which for some reason always seems a no-go in my head: combining black and brown. I’m not sure why, but I tend to always go for either black or brown as a base colour for my outfits. Such a shame, since these two actually go great together! I’d like to wear black and brown together more often. I might actually start a Pinterest board to find some inspiration, haha!

By the way, in case you notice something different about my hair: I received a new set of hair extensions earlier this week and they are an absolutely perfect match to my hair colour. It’s almost uncanny how well they match. They have that typical greenish undertone with red tones that my hair has, and I’ve never seen that in hair extensions before. You literally can’t see where my hair ends and the extensions start at all. I’m so excited about this that I actually wear them out in day to day life, which I normally never do. There’ll be a video up with them soon!
