For years and years, lip products were my least favourite make up item. Since I’m someone that eats and drinks all the time, I found lip products to be very inconvenient as I’d have to re-apply them painfully often. That’s still the case most times, but with the rise of the long-lasting and liquid lipsticks I’ve noticed that I’ve become much more tolerant towards wearing a colour on my lips, and lately I find myself actually developing a love for lip products. They’re one of my favourite make up items to purchase at the moment and pretty much all the newest additions to my collection are lipsticks. One of the newest members of my lipstick family is the Catrice Ultimate Stay lipstick in All That She Wants, which I’d like to show you today!
Catrice All That She Wants is part of the Ultimate Stay collection, a range of highly pigmented, long-lasting lipsticks with a satin finish. I’m not sure I’d call this a satin finish myself, the lipstick has a shine that looks almost metallic on me. Colour 020 is a beautiful cool toned purpley-pink.
The Ultimate Stay lipsticks are packaged in a slim, matte black plastic bullet with the Catrice logo printed on it in small, shiny black letters. The packaging is really elegant and works nicely, although I prefer a different shape for the lipstick itself: the large flat top isn’t the most user-friendly when you’re applying the lipstick straight from the bullet.
The lipstick is very nicely pigmented and doesn’t accentuate any fine lines at all. It feels very creamy and comfortable on the lips which is nice, but the creamy formula does make the lipstick wear off quite fast. I wouldn’t say it’s long-lasting at all, I can’t make it stay on my lips for more than two/three hours.
Although it’s not actually long-lasting, I think this is a very nice lipstick. There are 12 colours in the range, if you find one you like, this product is definitely worth giving a go.
