I love headbands. They are seriously underrated accessories that can easily spice up an otherwise very simple hairstyle, and really add something to an outfit.
Today I want to show you six different ways you can use headbands in your hairstyles. They are all quick and easy hairstyles that anybody can do in the morning, even when you’re short on time.
For the first hairstyle, simply place the headband over your head, and wrap the hair around it. Secure the back with bobbypins.
This style is meant to showcase a beautiful headband. Pull your hair into a simple bun, place an ornate headband on your head, Pull a few strands loose to make the hairstyle look more relaxed and romantic.
This style is extremely simple, but one of my favourites nonetheless. I wear this a lot! Part your hair vertically above your ears and place the headband here. Pull the very top of these sections back underneath the headband, and you’re done!
For this style, do the same thing as in the first style, but don’t add extra hair when you start wrapping. Only use the front sections to wrap around the elastic band, so you end up with a half-up hairdo like this.
For this style, place the headband on the vertical part above your ear again. With the upper half of your hair in the back, create a poof and pin it down. Gather the rest of your hair into a ponytail, bringing the front sections over the headband.
The last style is very similar to the first, only quicker. Wrap all of your hair around the elastic at once, and start tucking the wrap under the elastic. This one is really hard to explain, so…
Here’s a video! ;)
I hope you enjoy these hairstyles!
Wow, I absolutely loved this article! Headbands have always been my go-to accessory, and these styling ideas are fantastic. Can’t wait to try them out and feel fabulous.
Oh, I figured much. That gold one blows me away…trying suck bun curls at this very moment!
Thank you! The gold one is from a chinese webshop, the one with the leaves is from Claire's, and the white lace one was a gift. I've had all of them for years though so I don't think they're sold anymore
I just found your vlog based on a Torrinpaige vid – I am loving the tutorials, and I gotta know – where did you find these headbands?
