When I came home from holiday, I found not just one, but two packages from the Cozy Mug waiting for me! You guys know how excited I get about these, so of course I opened them right away, and today I’m going to show you all the tea samples and bonus items I found inside the June and July boxes.
June Box
The June box has a tropical summer island theme. Let’s see what’s inside!
Hawaiian Natural Mango Peach & Poha Berry organic tea
Two tropical tea flavours by Hawaiian organic tea. Mango Peach is a blend of green and black teas, and Poha Berry is a blend of green and white teas. I’d never heard of poha berries before, but apparently they’re full of vitamin K and have anti-inflammatory properties. Sounds good!
Stash Mango Passionfruit Herbal Tea & Mangosteen Green Tea
Mango Passionfruit is a caffeine free herbal tea based on rosehip and hibiscus, pefect for caffeine-sensitive people like me. Mangosteen is a green tea which I’m very excited to try, I’ve never had mangosteen and I can’t wait to find out what it tastes like!
Project 7 Coconut Lime Gourmet Gum
Project 7 makes gum with cleaner ingredients and unique flavours, like this coconut lime one. They also donate part of their profits to shelters, which is awesome!
I’m sure this is going to be one of those gums you can use to quiet down an appetite, haha ;)
Adagio Pina Colada
I love when there’s an Adagio loose leaf tea in the Cozy Mug box! I’ve built up quite a nice collection by now and they’ve never disappointed. This Pina Colada tea is a herbal caffeine free tea with lots of fruit pieces inside. It looks really good!
e.l.f Hypershine Lip Gloss Bare
A cute lipgloss for summer in a beautiful nude colour that I think will please many people. I’ve tried it out and although it’s very subtle, it looks fresh and pretty!
Tea Forté Tea Over Ice Green Mango Peach
A mango & peach flavoured green tea with mint leaves that you’re supposed to enjoy iced. I’m absolutely in love with this packaging, it’s super cute and looks very luxurious. After taking a peek on their website I found out that this is, indeed, quite an expensive baggie of tea. I look forward to savouring it!
July Box
The July box is all about the Charleston Tea Plantation, the only tea plantation in the USA.
Charleston Tea Plantation Rockville Raspberry & Plantation Peach Tea
A raspberry flavoured black tea and a peach flavoured black tea grown in Charleston, South Carolina.
Charleston Tea Plantation Carolina Mint & Charleston Breakfast Tea
And two more flavoured black teas from the USA! One is spearmint flavoured, and one is just plain black tea.
Olde Colony Bakery Benne Wafers
These handmade wafer cookies with sesame seeds are slightly savoury and very good to enjoy with a cup of tea. I’m eating mine while typing up this post, oops!
The Charleston Tea Company American Classic Glycerine Hand Therapy
I’m going to be honest with you, I pretty much love any beauty product that has tea inside. This hand cream is packed with glycerine (one of the best ingredients you can use for your skin) and infused with green tea from the Charleston plantation.
Lost River Naturals Rosemary Bliss Lip Balm
An all organic lip balm with rosemary scent. Although it’s an unconventional flavour of lip balm, I quite like it! These lip balms are homemade in Charleston and nicely moisturising, although I think the packaging design could use a bit of work.
Brushy Mountain Bee Farm Honey Sticks
I’ve received flavoured honey sticks in my Cozy Mug boxes a couple of times before and I have to be honest, they’re a bit of a miss for me. I just really don’t like flavoured honey, haha! So these grape, strawberry and watermelon flavoured ones went straight to my boyfriend.
That’s everything inside the June and July Cozy Mug boxes! There’s supposedly one more summer box before the autumn boxes come, and I’m really excited for both the last summer box and the autumn boxes!
Poha berries? Never heard of them either, intriguing. Seems they may be the same as cape gooseberries of which I did hear, but never tasted. Haha, despite the info available online when it comes to foods like fruits, mushrooms, vegetables, spices I consult a book I bought some years ago, Whole Foods Companion by Diane Onstad (not related to the grocery store chain). It gives one all sorts of info from health benefits to culinary suggestions. It makes me yearn to travel to all corners of the world and try all these things.
Ooh that book sounds like a great resource!
