Hair History: Early Renaissance

It’s Sunday, time for another episode of Hair History! Today I’m going to cover the 15th century, the early renaissance. This is one of my favourite eras when it comes to hairstyling, Italian ladies knew exactly what they were doing. Enjoy!

  1. The whole point of hair taping was to keep hair protected and out of the way. Those cute curls hanging down would have made the average housewife ready to rip her hair out from the roots. You try feeding farm animals with hair in the way, lmao!

  2. I really like this one. I need to get myself one of those needles, to try my hand at hair taping.
