In Dublin’s fair city,
Where the girls are so pretty,
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone,
As she wheeled her wheel-barrow,
Through streets broad and narrow,
Crying, “Cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh!”
As this post goes live, I’ll be on my way to the airport to fly to Dublin, the place that stole my heart three years ago when I first visited it. Ireland will always have a special place in my heart and I’m absolutely thrilled to be visiting there once more!
I’m joining my old study association on this trip as the first ever alumna-member, as a lot of my friends still study Celtic and are organising this trip. They have planned lots of fun academic and non-academic activities and although I’ll go my own way a few times, I’m really excited to join in all the fun and enjoy student life one more time (even though none of us are crazy party animals, we prefer tea). We’ll be doing lots of exploring in Dublin and visiting the surrounding area as well (Tara and Howth, yeeeess!)

Oh I am so glad you get to go again! I long to go to Ireland!! But as of yet I have not been able to fund a trip. Have a great time :)
