As you may know, early this year I did a major cleanup of all my social media accounts. I stopped using Twitter, muted anyone on Facebook I wasn’t interested in regular updates from, and completely overhauled who I followed on Instagram. My Insta feed went from retouched full-on makeup looks and glamorous influencer life to beautiful artsy photos of quiet, simple country living and vintage fashion looks overnight.
I cannot even begin to explain how much more I enjoy Instagram now. Instead of feeling lacking, rushed and like I don’t “fit in with the influencer crowd” (as Rachel Maksy beautifully put it in a recent video), I now feel inspired, calm and appreciative whenever I scroll through the app.
Today I wanted to share my favourite accounts to follow with you, the ones I think are definitely worth checking out.

Rebecca arguably has the nicest feed on all of Instagram. Every single one of her photos is breathtaking, and I don’t know how she does it. I absolutely love her vibes, clothing style, iconic slow-mo runs, the beautiful way she edits her photos, and of course her gorgeous hair. If you only check out one account off this list, let it be this one.

I haven’t been following Jerianie for very long, but she’s quickly become one of my favourites. She’s absolute aesthetic goals, and gives me that weird feeling you sometimes get when you follow someone that makes you think you’d hit it off really well in real life, haha! Not to mention she serves some beautiful Finnish landscape shots.

Victoria owns an envy-worthy vintage wardrobe and is one of the most photogenic ladies on my timeline. Seriously, she looks absolutely gorgeous in every single shot. Her style is very soft and feminine, and I just love the vibe her photos give off.

Alice has mastered the art of curating a beautiful feed. I find her page very inspiring as she makes it work incredibly well, while many of her photos look like they could be taken with a phone camera. She also serves autumn aesthetics pretty much year round so if you’re into that… Check her out for sure.

Nicole is currently the only account I follow with a very glamorous vintage style. Her clothing style is very different from mine, but I love looking at how she styles and rocks her pieces. Added bonus: she’s a proffessional opera singer who sometimes treats us to a snippet of beautiful singing in her stories.

Swann has the most gorgeous and fun photos. I adore the way she poses and how much movement is in her pictures, as well as her extravagant feminine clothing style. Her photos are vibrant, artful and very inspiring!

If I had a fairy godmother who could instantly transport someones wardrobe into mine, I’d choose Shirin’s in a heartbeat. I absolutely adore her style and it’s exactly the type of vintage clothing I like to wear myself. She’s gorgeous and her photos always give me new ideas as to how I can dress and style my hair for a laid-back vintage look.

I love following your Instagram posts Loepsie, you have a wonderfully gentle feel which I appreciate very much. I have 3 accounts, one for my blog/youtube, one for my handmade crafts and jewellery, and one for my miniature Dachshund puppy Katie. I find I spend way more time scrawling though Katie’s feed and my blog/youtube feed than my craft/jewellery one, as I’ve tended to follow brands and influencers to try to keep up with trends on there, and it just feels like everyone wants money (IMOHO). Katie’s feed is full of other Dachshunds sleeping in silly positions, or carrying ridiculouly big sticks – I know I can always look there for a little rush of happiness :)
