Spain Plog – Last Days

I’m sitting here on the balcony, looking at the sea, typing up this post. All my stuff is packed up and we’re about ready to head back home. Before I leave, I wanted to share my last couple of days in Spain with you!

I ordered a “lasagna with avocado, papaya, mozarella and smoked salmon” at a restaurant the other night. This was not what I expected to receive, but it was really good! I was glad to get some raw, fresh food into my system.

The almost full moon claiming ownership of the sky. Sunsets are so beautiful above the sea!

At night we took a ride in this tourist wagon that drives around here. It went the same route down the boulevard that we walked the first day, but it was really nice to see the city by night.

Afterwards we went for our favourite, ehm… peculiar shaped ice cream :) The first time we discovered this, years ago, we couldn’t stop laughing and it’s been a staple thing to eat in Spain ever since.

Just look at it. Oh my.. xD

The next day I decided to bring out my adventurous side and give this trampoline-with-bungee-cords thing a shot. Whenever I’d see one as I child I’d really want to go on, so I guess I fulfilled a childhood dream of mine.

There were kids doing tripple summersaults up there, but jumping up and down was about as much adrenaline as I could handle. And it made me pretty sick, too. I’m too old for this stuff… xD

We spent the rest of the day laying on the beach, reading, and swimming.

Now I’m wearing makeup for the first time in what feels like ages. The taxi will be here soon to take us to the airport. Hopefully we’ll have a smoother journey back than we did here.

I had an amazing time in Spain and I loved being here, but I’m so ready to hug my little ratties and see Robbert again! Home sweet home, right :)

I hope you guys enjoyed seeing what I was up to in Spain. I will see you when I’m back in the Netherlands!
