Today I want to show you one of my favourite ways to wear glitter nailpolish. It’s a gold glitter gradient, which I think looks very elegant and pretty!
I used four nailpolishes in this look, but you only really need two or three. One base colour, one glittery colour, and optionally another polish with bigger glitters. I used Catrice Ultimate Nudes 070 Same Seine But Different and the Hope Girl Nail Travel Bling Bling Set in Gold Shine. I went for nude and gold, but you can obviously use whichever colour you’d like.
First I painted my entire nails in the base colour.
Then I went over that with the least glittery colour of the trio.
Next, I took the mid-sized glitters, and applied those to the upper half of my nails.
Then I took the largest glitters, and painted those on the upper quarter of my nails.
Now all there’s left to do is apply a topcoat, and you’re done! If you only have two polishes, just apply one coat of glitter halfway down your nail, and then apply another coat on the upper quarter.
