My Favourite YouTubers

YouTube is an amazing place. Who would’ve thought, 10 years ago when it was all funny cats and music videos, what it would grow up to be? You can find anything on YouTube nowadays and the content creators are quickly becoming some of the most influential people on earth. Of course, besides being a creator myself, I am also an avid consumer of videos. Today I’d like to share with you five of my favourite YouTubers, in no particular order.

Hannah Maggs

The Michalak family make the best vlogs on YouTube, hands down. Hannah, Stef and little Grayson film their daily life and Stef edits them into 30 minute feature films that go up once every week. They go so far beyond normal vlogs- they document the real everyday life of a young family in London, but they’re filmed and edited so incredibly well that they somehow always manage to make everybody see the little joys in life (which you know is right up my alley!) and there’s seldomly one that doesn’t make me cry. They capture life and love so beautifully, I definitely recommend you check out their vlogs!

Glam & Gore

Mykie is my newest subscription, but I’ve fallen in love with her videos very quickly. As the title of the channel suggests, Mykie makes makeup videos about glam and gore. She does classic makeup tutorials and she does awesome special effects makeup, and she does both incredibly well. Often she’ll do glam and gore versions of the same look, like Danaerys up here, or Elsa with frostbite. The videos are mesmerizing, edited very well and her personality is very fun and likable. Great channel!

Melanie Murphy

Melanie is such a beautiful person, inside and out. I love how she uses her quickly gained influence (230k+ subscribers in 2 years, what??) to spread positivity, confidence and love amongst her viewers. Her videos are some of the most genuine on YouTube, and I just love watching her. She’s very kind, outgoing and fun and it really shines through! She also does really fun collabs with lots of other YouTubers. Plus, Melanie’s gorgeous, and you can’t beat that Irish accent!

Tati

Tati’s channel is like a beauty blog in video form. Her upload schedule is insane (so many videos!), but everything she puts out is great quality. She’s a makeup artist with a passion for makeup and it shows. She does lots of reviews of new products, favourites, products she regrets buying, makeup tutorials and all kinds of beauty tips. Her videos are very pleasant to watch, I love her voice and she has a very calm air.

Lisa Eldgride

Lisa Eldridge is the queen of makeup. She’s a renowned makeup artist of the stars and she’s the best one I’ve ever come across. Her philosophy is very similar to mine when it comes to makeup and how to wear it, and I honestly have to say I’ve learned more useful tips and information from her than I did during all my makeup artist courses. Her videos are incredibly well produced and the tips are invaluable. Definitely watch her videos if you like to wear makeup!

I’m always on the lookout for more great YouTubers. Share your favourites in the comments! :)

  1. She’s not a makeup/fashion blogger or anything, but you should check out Natalie Tran (communitychannel). She’s really funny and does mostly sketch comedy. : )

  2. You mean there are other people on youtube other that Loepsie and Loepsie’s Life….No way I don’t believe it!! Shenanigans

  3. My favorite youtubers are: You, Lisa Eldridge, Makeup Geek, and April Athena7. My favorite Brazilian YouTuber is Camila Coelho but her english channel, her portuguese channel is just basically sponsored videos and advertisement, she lost her way in the Portuguese videos, lost lots of subscribers, and lots of fighting in the comment bars, Brazilians are very vocal… I felt sorry for her, but that just the road she decided to walk down… I have been a subscriber to your channel going on 4 years now… I love your videos!

    1. :( It makes me so sad when that happens. I don’t mind sponsored videos at all, as long as they’re occasional and there’s plenty of other content inbetween! But the fighting in the comments is the worst. At least her English channel is still going strong :)

  4. My favorite vlogger, by far, is NerdzRL. She is a stunts woman, and she will some times do different stunt videos along with some silly videos, but I just love her personality. She’s super relate-able, down to earth, kind, and awesome. She will be my favorite vlogger forever I’m sure.
Oh, and I also love Kaelyn and Lucy, they used to do montage videos of their LDR, and now that they’ve lived together for a year, they just do different funny / serious videos on topics such as LGBTQ, life advice, etc…

  5. My favorite youtubers besides yourself Lucy, is Chanelette. She is so classy and I just love her vlogs. She is really good at vlogging! I also love macshadowcombos. She is so much fun to watch and her passion for makeup shows too. Another one I love is Kandee Johnson. She just genuinely seems like such a nice person and is so passionate about what she does. Megan Parken, a youtuber from Texas, I also have to give a shout out to as I’m a Texas girl myself :) Also another shout out to Hilah Cooking! She is a Texas girl too and I love her recipes, I have tried some and all turn out great! :) Last but not least Meg Says! She is adorable and fun to watch! :)

    1. Ooh lots of new people to check out there! :) Kandee is awesome, she’s so bright and cheerful :D

  6. I absolutely love KlairedeLys’ makeup tutorials, because they are extremely creative and even though you can’t really wear them in real life, they’re mesmerizing to watch nonetheless.

    1. I used to watch her a lot a few years ago! She puts a lot of attention into her videos, they’re beautiful :)

  7. My all times favorite is Laura Vitale. She is a self-taught chef and a very inspiring person. I love people who work hard and chase their dreams. Plus, 5 years ago, when I just started cooking, she was my very first teacher :)

    1. I’ve heard about her before, I believe my friend and I used one of her recipes when we were baking something a while back, haha! Her stuff is delicious :D
