My Favourite Vegan Recipe YouTubers

If you read my food and recipe posts, you’re probably familiar with my prefered style of cooking. I like my dishes simple, quick, healthy, and large. I’m a fan of uncomplicated, classic flavours, and I don’t like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Great results with little effort: that’s what I aim for on the daily. Today I’d like to share three of my favourite vegan recipe YouTubers with you, whose cooking style and taste is similar to mine. Also these ladies are here to share recipes and not to be preachy about their dietary choices, which I greatly appreciate. If you like my recipes, chances are you’ll love these YouTubers as well!

JessBeautician

I don’t even remember how many times I’ve shared Jess’ channel on here before, but I’m going to do it again because she is just everything I could ask for from a food YouTuber. She makes cooking vegan from scratch look easy and effortless, which was a huge influence in my decision to adopt a plant-based diet. Our tastes are very similar so I seldomly see a recipe on her channel that doesn’t speak to me, and I find her videos incredibly inspiring. Not to mention they’re beautifully filmed and edited. Definitely worth a watch!

Amanda Ducks

I like Amanda’s style of cooking: often she adds a little bit of this and a little bit of that, which is exactly what I do in the kitchen. I’m not much of a recipe follower, I usually like to just combine a bunch of ingredients that I think will go well together and hope for the best. She uses mostly accessible ingredients, and her recipes are nice and quick to throw together. Her videos make me feel like being more carefree and experimenting in the kitchen.

Madeleine Olivia

Madeleine’s videos are nice and laid-back, filmed in a more vloggy style but still beautifully done. Her dishes are nice and simple as well, but flavourful. She often gives alternatives to certain ingredients or possible variations as she goes, which is very helpful. I also love how she and her boyfriend often rate the recipes at the end, it’s a nice personal touch that makes her feel like a friend who’s cooking for you. Added bonus: Madeleine makes wonderful videos about minimalism and zero waste as well.

Do you know of any other vegan YouTubers with a similar style that you think I should check out? I’d love to hear!

  1. Pickuplimes is my favourite. The creator Sadia is the sweetest and all about positivity, veganism and minimalism and she too lives in Amsterdam.

    1. Oh yes, I’ve been subscribed to her for a while! But I thought she lived in Eindhoven, not Amsterdam..?

      1. We would love love love to see a collaboration between you two. Also Lucy as you are breaking your boundaries please collaborate more with others creators too.

  2. Ooh thanks for these suggestions! I’ve been in a bit of a recipe slump recently (is that even a thing? haha) so I’m super excited to give a few of these recipes a try (that pulled artichoke sandwich looks soo delicious!) My favorite vegan recipe YouTubers are Pick Up Limes, Sweet Potato Soul, and Fablunch :) I definitely recommend you check them out!
