What To Wear With Hip Dips

Over the years, I’ve figured out a few pointers on how to dress hip dips in the most flattering (in my opinion) way. They’re completely natural and nothing to be embarrassed about, but if you should wish to conceal them a little bit, I’m going to show you what you can wear to make your hip dips or violin hips look less prominent. Enjoy watching!

  1. Dear Lucy,

It is just until now that I get to know that this has a name. I mean, i always thought there was something weird everytime i wore jeans and therefore I wouldn’t really like them, but I never really payed attention to it, thinking I just needed to loose weight. I happened to stumble across a video on YouTube that talkd about dip hips and for the very first time in my life I learned about what dip hips are, and that that is exactly what I have. This was only an hour ago, however I was already feeling anxious about how it cant be changed, because I always thought that it would get “better” by just losing weight. Watching your video has helped me to be more calm about it and certainly to be more aware about the type of clothing that will suit me the best. I never really understood why the same clothes would seem to me to look better on other girls but not on me, and so, eventhough I would not really recognize it, I started to slowly loose my self esteem and somewhat “accept” I was ugly. It turns out I just need to find the clothes that really suit me, but most importantly, to embrace who I am and love me exactly just like that. Thank you so much.

Pd. Sorry if my grammar is not so good, or if in some parts I dont get to express myself very well, english is not my native language but I’m trying jajajajaj

  2. Dear Lucy,
I decided to make a comment today is because I LITERALLY was feeling upset about my hip-dips last night. I was trying on some of my old bathing suits to see if I need a new one. Everything else was okay except for my evil HIPS. I kept on focusing on how bad they looked. I showed my mom and she said that I’ll look better than most of those people out there (on the beach (I’m going with my bestie soon :3)) which made me feel a bit better, but I thought it was just fat. I mean maybe I got a little bit plumper in that area but still, I thought I was supposed to have smooth hips, not wavy hips. Anyways, I saw your video in the recommended and kept on saying, “No way!!”. The first few words you said was an eye-opener and I felt relief about my body for the first time in months. Thank you for thinking about making a video about hip-dips and seeming pretty chill and okay about them. I’m not sure how you felt behind the camera, but you did great.

    Sincerely,
    Izayah

    1. I’m so glad to hear that! Honestly, I feel much better about mine since I found out they’re normal and quite common to have. Now I really am quite ok with them :) As far as bathing suits go, if you’re comfortable with it I’ve found the brazilian cut with a higher waist is amazing on hip dips :D
