My New Makeup Setup

Last week, I decided on a whim that I wanted to switch my makeup stash and my stationery and pens. My makeup collection is ever expanding, and since I’ve gotten a few hair tools and products recently, I felt like I was outgrowing my old setup.

So I decided to put my makeup in the drawer set underneath my desk, which I had organised not too long ago. I was able to put all my pens and small notebooks in my old makeup storage drawers, and put all my large notebooks and paperwork in my big shelving unit. This cleared up a lot of space for my makeup and hair products!

Fridge Organisation

I love organising hard-to-organise spaces. Like junk drawers, or the fridge! Fridges tend to be a messy spot in many people’s houses, while it’s actually a really important place to keep organised. A messy fridge is a disaster: forgotten leftovers, mushy vegetables in the back, lost dairy products… It’s not only nasty but can be potentially dangerous as well, contaminating your fresh food unnoticed.

Today I want to show you how I organise my fridge! Granted, I have a large fridge that I use all by myself, and I always empty it out before leaving for the weekend, so it’s not that hard to keep organised. But these tips should be aplicable to any fridge size and contents!

Organising Junk Drawers

Everyone has this one drawer. This one drawer that collects all your items that don’t have a proper home: the drawer that you can’t keep organised to save your life. For me, it’s my desk drawer. The top and bottom drawers tend to collect random items from around the house, and while the other drawers used to house my uni notes and supplies, they’ve kind of turned into junk drawers as well. It’s about time I did something about it!
