Digital Declutter – Phone, Tablet & Computer

Spring is right around the corner, and with it comes the big cleanup. I have a fun Spring Cleaning theme week planned in March that I’m very excited about and am sure you’ll enjoy, but there’s no reason why we shouldn’t start decluttering and cleaning right now. Actually, I’d like to point you towards an area of our lives that is often overlooked when it comes to cleaning and decluttering, and that is technology. And I don’t mean the technology itself, I mean what’s on it.

We spend so much of our time using technology nowadays, that it’s become a very real and substantial part of our lives. Like any space you own, your virtual space will feel so much better, fresher and lighter when you give it a good declutter. A clutter free space is a clutter free mind, and that goes for your virtual space as well! Plus, having all your files and programmes organised can boost your productivity.
Today I’m going to share a few tips on how you can declutter your cellphone, tablet, computer, and your online life. It’s time for a digital declutter.

Top 5 Natural Home Cleaners

Cleaning the house is something we all have to do. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how important it is to maintain hygiene in your home. Today I want to share some natural alternatives to chemical cleaners with you. These alternatives are cheaper, safer, and way better for the environment. And in most cases, they’re just as effective as your expensive specialty product!
Since I moved into my current apartment, I’ve been trying to clean as much as I can using natural cleaners. Let’s take a look at my top 5 favourite natural cleaners, and why I love using them!

My New Makeup Setup

Last week, I decided on a whim that I wanted to switch my makeup stash and my stationery and pens. My makeup collection is ever expanding, and since I’ve gotten a few hair tools and products recently, I felt like I was outgrowing my old setup.

So I decided to put my makeup in the drawer set underneath my desk, which I had organised not too long ago. I was able to put all my pens and small notebooks in my old makeup storage drawers, and put all my large notebooks and paperwork in my big shelving unit. This cleared up a lot of space for my makeup and hair products!

Let’s take a look at my new makeup setup, shall we?

Fridge Organisation

I love organising hard-to-organise spaces. Like junk drawers, or the fridge! Fridges tend to be a messy spot in many people’s houses, while it’s actually a really important place to keep organised. A messy fridge is a disaster: forgotten leftovers, mushy vegetables in the back, lost dairy products… It’s not only nasty but can be potentially dangerous as well, contaminating your fresh food unnoticed.

Today I want to show you how I organise my fridge! Granted, I have a large fridge that I use all by myself, and I always empty it out before leaving for the weekend, so it’s not that hard to keep organised. But these tips should be aplicable to any fridge size and contents!
