Spain Plog – Sand & Trains

Whoa, time flies so fast! This morning it took me a while to realise it’s friday already, I was convinced yesterday was wednesday… I can’t believe I only have two days left in Spain! Today I want to share with you what I’ve been up to for the past few days.

Maybe I lost track of time because much has been the same. I spent two whole days laying on the beach, doing puzzles and reading a Feast for Crows. Not a bad way to spend one’s time, methinks :)

I finished a Feast for Crows yesterday. Can’t wait to start reading Dances With Dragons!

The Netherlands – Argentina football match was on, so we went to the Sport CafĂ© to watch the game. We came in nice and early so we’d be certain to have a spot, so we had dinner there as well. This is my absolute favourite dish of theirs and one of the best salads I’ve ever had: their “Oriental Salad” with chicken, peanuts, mandarins and a satay sauce dressing. SO GOOD! I have this every year when we come here.

The game was long and intense, and the Dutch team lost. Ah well, semi-finals is good enough. And look at this tiny Arjen Robben fan I spotted at the bar!

Today we went to have a look at a neighbouring town. There was a train museum there… yay?
I’m not too big into trains but my brother and I goofed off a bit and ended up having a lot of fun.

I sat in a wagon from 1905. Excuse my inherent inability to look even remotely normal in photographs.

I had to try and squeeze myself into this tiny train. If I fits, I sits ;)

Afterwards we went to the beach and cooled down our feet. It’s getting warmer every day!

Have you guys met my little brother yet? He’s not so little anymore :)

I hope you guys are having a lovely summer! Enjoy your weekend everybody, I’ll talk to you soon!
