DIY Deep Conditioning Hair Mask

Sometimes your hair just needs a good pick me up when it’s looking dry, damaged and dull. This mask is a great quick fix that will add moisture and life back into your hair. It’s really easy to make and you’re likely to already have the ingredients at home. Plus, it smells wonderfully tropical, which is a great bonus!

You will need:
1/2 ripe banana
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp honey

Blend the ingredients together in a blender, making sure the mixture is absolutely smooth. If it’s not completely smooth, you’ll end up with little chunks of banana in your hair!
Apply the mixture onto dry or damp hair, and leave on for at least 10 minutes. Then wash it out thoroughly with shampoo.

You hair will come out super shiney and soft! You should definitely give it a go :)

  1. Just remember that coconut oil is only good for low-porosity hair. If someone has higher porosity, using coconut oil will end up in frizz and more dryness, because coconut oil is a saturated fat.
