Feel-Good Beauty Products

Ok. Not trying to be all materialistic here, but there’s just something about getting all dolled up that makes us girls incredibly happy. Who hasn’t reached for that certain lipstick when they needed a little pick-me-up? I certainly have, and there are certain other products as well that just make me feel extra special. I’d like to share my feel-good beauty products with you today!

Since I already mentioned lipstick, let’s just kick off with that, shall we? This is my ultimate feel-good lipstick at the moment. I love bright reds, but in spring and summer I tend to reach for pinks and this bright, fresh corally pink is absolutely perfect. It’s long lasting too, so I don’t need to worry about reapplying all the time. Bonus!

Lush Bath Bombs

Bath products are an awesome feel-good product in general in my opinion, but there’s something about Lush bath bombs that’s just extra indulgent. They’re on the pricier side which makes them feel extra luxurious, and the whole experience is amazing. They fizz and colour the water and smell amazing and are nurturing to the skin and they just make me feel so GOOD!

Benefit Watt’s Up!

I did a bride’s makeup a few weeks ago and went out to purchase a few extra products for my bridal kit beforehand. I try to stay away from my bridal kit in my personal life, and I’m doing really well if I say so myself, but I cannot manage to keep my hands off this highlighter. It’s so incredibly beautiful! It’s a cream, so I apply it over my foundation and under my powder. It lasts all day and gives the most gorgeous glow to my cheekbones. Applying it always brings a smile to my face and it’s transferred from my bridal kit to my daily stash, permanently.

Burberry London for Her

This has to be up there among the best impulse purchases I’ve ever made. I bought the entire Burberry London set with the large perfume bottle, a purse-size bottle, and a lotion on sale and with a gift card, so I only ended up paying about €20 for it and they were definitely well spent. I’ve yet to find a Burberry scent that I don’t like, and this one is so fresh, citrusy, soft and feminine, I’m absolutely in love with it. It’s the perfect scent for me and I always feel great when I apply it.

Rituals Sakura Spring Foaming Shower Oil

Feel Good Beauty Products

Rituals is another brand of indulgent luxury bath & shower products for me. I usually get these products as a gift, and this one I received in a little set from Robbert’s mom. I LOVE the Sakura Spring scent! It’s very fresh and feminine (see a pattern here?) and the oil-to-foam consistency is very luxurious and nurturing. This is a tiny bottle and I always save it for when I want to feel extra special!

  1. Phtt, nothing wrong with a bit of materialism, it’s part of life. Just as long as it’s in proper moderation and balanced with other aspects of life, haha. I don’t know if I’m influenced by the vintage movement or just, er, different, heehee, but I love reds currently. I hardly ever see anyone wear them (or any bright colour) around where I live. Of course, it’s easier to wear a stain, or sheer balm like product rather than full-on red on super hot days.
