A Different Kind of Sock Curls

“How to curl your hair with a sock” is my all-time most popular video, with millions of views, which it was never supposed to get, given that the video is literally “hey, BTW, remember that sock bun? It gives awesome curls”. Ah well, can’t predict the internet.

Today I’m revisiting sock curls; I’m going to show you a different way to curl your hair using just socks and no heat; the rag curl method. Rags have been used for centuries to curl women’s hair, it’s a foolproof method of creating awesome curls. Enjoy!

  1. I just wanted to say that I still remember the video you did a long time ago with that first version of the sock curls! that was the first video I watched of yours. I used that method quite a lot back in the first few years of high school.

I actually also use this method as well. I still do, to this day. It’s such a great easy DIY for your hair. I got the idea from another video, and I’m so happy to see that you use this method as well because yours was the original no-heat curls I had ever watched.
