Tea Garden Launch Week | Loepsie’s Life

Hello to you all on this lovely Monday! Whoa, can you believe I actually launched a perfume yesterday? I’ve gotten so much positive response to Tea Garden, I really hope you’ll all love it when you receive your bottles! I’m kind of living on cloud nine at the moment, haha :)
Anyways, it’s time to share my past week with you, through the photos on my phone. Let’s take a look!

On Monday I noticed Llewelyn’s soles on his little feet were a tad red and swollen. I’m afraid it’s a beginning case of bumblefoot, so I researched ways to treat it right away and headed into town to buy him some propolis cream. We clipped his nails, did an extra deep clean of the cage and put him on a diet & exercise routine :) We’re applying the cream several times a day and it’s looking good so far, so I’m hoping it might go away!

Dance class in the afternoon. I finally got some new shoes! The old ones were all used up and the soles were coming off, so I really needed a new pair. The old one lasted me years and years (about 10 if I remember correctly) so I’m hoping this pair will serve me well too :)

Breakfast at home in Utrecht! Oatmeal with apple and honey. Yum ^^

I really need to get some grocery bags for my bike. I now just hang my bag off my handlebars but it’s not an ideal way to carry things, haha!

Grocery haul! I got corn bread, paprika crisps, bin bags, apple pie mix, broccoli, avocado, lentil patties, black beans, corn, tomato paste, pickled jalapenos, sandwich spread, hummus, bell peppers, margarine and nakd bars.

The final version of the perfume came in! It’s so weird I can now show you photos of it after having kept it secret for so long, haha :) Now that it’s all ready I can take promo photos and get everything ready for the launch.

I am beyond in love with this T-shirt.

We were treated to another week of amazing weather! I went on lots of walks again, of course. Seeing all the happy people hanging around in the park always makes me very happy too.

I bought a ridiculous amount of apples last week and realised I’d never be able to eat all of them before they go bad, so I decided to bake an apple pie. I used vegetable margarine and a chia egg and it turned out amazing. Yay!

Robbert and I took some time to head to Arnhem and do some spring wardrobe shopping. I was really in need of some long-sleeve tops that aren’t bulky knitted sweaters! You’ll see some of the pieces in outfit posts soon :)

My new watch from Jord came in! I feel so lucky to be working with this brand. Their products are so gorgeous and amazing quality. I’ll be doing a giveaway for them soon so keep your eyes peeled! :)

Mexican style dinner with Robbert and watching the Belgian show “de Mol” in the evening.

Next day we shot the photos and video bits for Tea Time. We found an amazing location with a bunch of blooming cherry trees which was absolutely perfect. We also shot some outfit photos, those will go up next week :)

I filmed and edited some more after Robbert went home and then I had a simple dinner.

Next day my brother was coming over to visit! I decided to pick him up from the train station by foot, as the weather was amazing again. It’s about a 30 minute walk, but absolutely beautiful and definitely worth it.

So much love for this beautiful city!

We bought some new hardware for my PC and my brother installed all of it. My PC is now even cooler than it already was, haha! I’m incredibly happy with it, it’s making me so much more efficient and productive.

Next morning we headed to the fabric market to get me some fabrics. Elfia (formerly Elf Fantasy Fair) is coming up soon and I need a costume! My parents gave me a set of beautiful wings for Christmas and I want to make a costume around them, so I got some fabric to work with. Hopefully I can make something nice out of it. I’ll show you, of course!

In the afternoon we headed back to our parents’ to celebrate our mom’s birthday.

Next day was my monthly scouting activity! We had a chilled meeting this time, singing some songs by the campfire, playing some games and chatting about what we plan to do for the rest of the season. Right now it looks like we’ll be going to Scotland on summer camp, I really hope we can make that happen! I’d personally love to do a bit of the West Highland Way and the others seem up for it as well so I’m really excited :)

In the afternoon Robbert and I went bowling with my parents, and then we headed over to his house.

It’s been an incredible week. Thank you so much for your support and for the overwhelming response to the launch of Tea Garden! <3
