  1. I use to have Impostor Syndrome. Mine was caused by poor self esteem.
Society places exaggerated importance upon money, fame, power, and especially – beauty and intelligence. Yes, these are nice qualities and some people possess more of it; but it doesn’t make them scientifically superior as a human being. They still suffer from hunger, cold, illness, etc., and have the same basic desires as everyone. They must depend on others to survive (e.g. farmers, doctors, mechanics, etc.). If they were truly above everybody they would not have these problems or needs.
Saying to yourself, repeatedly, that you are just as good as everyone else (not better or worse) will help by grounding you in reality. Remember, all people (surgeons, teachers, homeless, etc. – not just You Tubers) are on the same level.

    Take care.
    Best wishes :)

  2. I watch you because you DON’T seem like a “YouTuber.” ;) You seem like someone with whom I would be friends IRL, and you’d fit right in with my D&D group. The tea kettle is always on for us. :) Other YouTubers feel intimidating, but you come across more as a friend than a film personality, if that makes sense.

Hey, maybe you could do a tea time video about D&D and discuss what you enjoy about the game and tell a little about your character sometime? I think that’d be super fun.

    1. I agree with Jen in the way you’re like a friend. I love watching your videos and I appreciate your authenticity. That’s why I keep coming back and am now following your blog. Keep being lovely you in the way you do Youtube and other areas of life – and be grounded in that first and foremost you are you – after that you are a Youtuber, blogger, etc.
