Chia Pudding Breakfast

Have you ever wandered into the beautiful world of chia pudding?

I found out about this treat a while ago but only tried it out recently. Needless to say, I’m hooked.

Chia is a very popular super food, filled with omega-3 fats and fiber, manganese and phosphorus, and protein!

I made myself this breakfast that is nothing short of a dessert, and it’s completely guilt-free too! Of course I had to share the recipe with you right away.

Ingredients:
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup almond milk (or other milk)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Stevia or sugar to taste
Strawberries (or other fruit)
Granola

The night before, mix the chia seeds, vanilla and stevia into the almond milk. Cover with cling film and set in the fridge overnight.

Next morning, the chia seeds will have turned the milk into a pudding.
Fill a tall glass with layers of strawberries, pudding and granola.

Doesn’t it look amazing? I used a champagne glass and thought I would need a refill, but I underestimated how filling this is. I actually had trouble eating all of it!

Let me know what you think if you try this out, enjoy your luxurious breakfast!

  1. I am so going to try this as soon as I get the chance, it looks amazing.

  2. OMG I'm going to try this for tomorrow. Here in Mexico we make flavored water mixing lime juice, sugar, chia seeds and obviously water. It's one of my favorites, I recommend it if you want some more recipes with chia :P

  3. Thank you! I kept seeing chia seeds in the store, but never knew what to do with them. Most recipes I found didn't speak to me AT ALL. Looks and sounds delish!
