This hairstyle was popular in the 40s and originally served to show support to soldiers in WWII, but nowadays it has become the go-to look for everyone wishing to recreate the vintage pin-up style.   1. I have some old photos of the 1940’s and 1950’s of now dead relatives, who are sporting that hairdo. My sister and I thought, that, those rolls were very ugly, and we used to laugh at them, but I am starting to like them now. They look good on you.

    1. I sometimes wonder what it is about our current hairstyles that our children & grandchildren will laugh about… My bet is on the side shave, haha!
