Omelette Wraps Recipe

One of the best ways to start eating healthy, in my opinion, is substituting your favourite meals for healthier versions. Minor adjustments and replacements can make a huge difference and you’ll still be enjoying the food you love!

The recipe I’m sharing with you today is one of these healthier options; we’re replacing the classic wheat tortilla with a fresh omelette.
This makes for a simple yet delicious and very nutritious lunch, and it tastes even better than I was expecting. Keep on reading for the recipe for my omelette wraps!

Omelette Wrap 2

Ingredients

2 eggs
splash of milk
dash of breadcrumb
herbal cream cheese
tomato
cucumber

Recipe serves one.

Omelette Wrap 1

Whisk together the eggs, milk and breadcrumbs. I just add a bit of both by eye, the exact measurements don’t really matter.
Heat up some butter or oil in a pan, and cook the egg mixture until it makes a nice golden omelette.
When the omelette is done, spread a scoop of herbal cream cheese onto one side. Cut a few strips off your tomato and cucumber, and place them lightly off-center on your omelette. Roll it up into a wrap, and enjoy!

This recipe is definitely a keeper in my book, perfect for lunch!

  1. This looks so yummy indeed ! :)
Thanks, I always enjoy spice up my meals ^^.
Love your blog by the way <3

  2. This is so timely! My hens have just started up their spring laying- I’m overrun with eggs and looking for ways to use them all up. This looks SO GOOD, just like all your recipes. Thank you!

  3. This looks so yummy and I believe it is, but I can’t eat eggs without bread. So, I’m gonna try it but with bread.

  4. Now I’m so hungry! :) Only I don’t have all the ingredients. But tomorrow… tomorrow morning will be delicious. Oh yes ;)
Also, I never was into oatmeal really. I thought of it as something not really tasty but it was promoted everywhere. All those foodporn pictures of oatmeal with fruit… I thought “poor people, forcing themselves to eat it just because it’s said to be healthy”. After your Spring Cleaning Week video I tried it and I like it! :)

    1. Glad to hear you liked the oatmeal! It’s definitely my favourite thing to have in the morning and there are so many variations :) The health aspect is just a bonus for me, haha!

      1. I made the wraps today for breakfast. After the first portion I didn’t even bother washing the frying pan because I knew I would want more immediately :)
